Spain-based transport and logistics firm Lodisna has launched operations in Tangier with a new operations center with plans to bridge Morocco to Europe, according to a company statement. The move also aims to strengthen the company’s international presence and boost trade and connectivity between Europe and Morocco.
The details: The company will have its own fleet and will serve agriculture, food, automotive and textiles exports, according to the statement. Company representatives declined to comment when Enterprise Logistics asked about the value of investments Lodisna plans to pump into the center.
The operations center has kicked off operations: “We are kicking off operations with a textile company as our main client and will diversify later on to sectors such as the automotive and agricultural sectors,” CEO Igor Beguiristain told Enterprise Logistics.
About Lodisna: The company is an integrated logistics operator and specializes in offering tailor-made projects, like warehouses for the management of goods with activities such as picking, packing, sorting, and cross docking, Beguiristain said.
