Jordan + Iraq to deepen bilateral cooperation: Jordan’s Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and Iraq’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ Al Sudani held talks to bolster cooperation in several fields and economic cooperation, Jordan News Agency reports. The two officials discussed boosting trade volumes, expanding cooperation in the economic, trade, and investment fields, and supporting the private sector in increasing private sector trade exchange between the countries, according to the news agency. They also discussed developments concerning the joint economic city project and extending a pipeline to export Iraqi oil.
