DHL wants to make Egypt its springboard for Africa: DHL plans to expand its operations in Egypt to form a logistics hub for the African continent, DHL Express CEO John Pearson told Mostafa Madbouly during a meeting, according to an Egyptian cabinet statement. The firm aims to increase the number of its cargo flights to Egypt, Pearson said, adding that DHL has already invested more than EGP 1 bn in the local market.

Shell Oman has inked an MoU with Oman Automobile Association to establish an EV charging station hub and a smart services station, according to a press release. The agreement will see the two companies collaborate on EV charging, quality fuels, non-fuel retail products and services, while supporting road safety and environmental initiatives, according to the release. OAA will deploy EV charging units provided by Shell Oman at its premises and other locations, and leverage Shell Oman’s expertise in fuels, lubricants and digital fleet management tools across their existing vehicles too, the statement adds.
