AD Ports and Singapore-based Crystal Offshore have signed a 25-year contract that will see Crystal Offshore establish a maintenance base at Khalifa Port, according to a statement. The agreement sets out 20k sqm and an associated quay wall within Khalifa Port for Crystal Offshore to establish a facility that will encompass offices and fabrication workshops intended for the repair of drilling rigs and marine assets, as well as deep water vessels such as floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) and semi submersibles, according to the statement.
