The facilities will be located within Adnoc Gas' Habshan 5 plant, which processes 6.1 bn standard cubic ft of gas per day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The breakdown:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A consortium including <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.enppi.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI)<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/petrojet.com.eg\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Petrojet<\/a> secured the largest contract to develop a <strong>USD 1.24 bn LNG pre-conditioning plant<\/strong> (LPP).<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/cpp.cnpc.com.cn\/gdjen\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company<\/a> will develop USD 514 mn transmission pipelines, connecting the Habshan Complex to the Ruwais LNG facility.<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.petrofac.com\/where-we-operate\/petrofac-in-the-middle-east\/united-arab-emirates\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Petrofac Emirates<\/a> will develop compression facilities under a USD 335 mn contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ICYMI- These are not the first contracts awarded for Al Ruwais: <\/strong>In <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/3a45d3c9-ebc7-426f-ac78-25ac8fefd032\/adnoc-reaches-final-investment-decision-%2B-awards-usd-5.5-bn-contract-for%253cmark%253e-ruwais%253c%2Fmark%253e-lng-project#:~:text=Getting%20the%20ball,in%20March.\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">June<\/a>, Adnoc handed out USD 5.5 bn in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts to a JV between engineering companies NMDC Energy, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ten.com\/en\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Technip Energies<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jgc.com\/en\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">JGC Corporation<\/a>, for its Ruwais LNG project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>About the facility:<\/strong> Adnoc broke ground on its LNG project in Al Ruwais Industrial City at Al Dhafra Region <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/b1639c68-6698-4b4f-a1e6-87c6abcf49fe\/tjx-is-now-a-minority-shareholder-in-brands-for-less\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">in November<\/a>. The oil giant plans to start exporting from the Ruwais site in 2028, with a target of 4.8 mn tonnes per year. The project is expected to more than double Adnoc\u2019s LNG production capacity in the UAE to 15 mn tonnes per year. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>Adnoc Gas is set to acquire a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/ee2c5c60-7a60-4c22-9634-ae56c1d4b7ea\/adnoc-gas-to-acquire-60%2525-of%253cmark%253e-ruwais%253c%2Fmark%253e%253cmark%253e-lng%253c%2Fmark%253e,-to-pour-usd-15-bn-into-growth-by-2029\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">60% stake<\/a> in the project from its parent group Adnoc in 2H 2028 for an estimated USD 5 bn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">OTHER RUWAIS NEWS-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>CB&I snags major contract for Ruwais LNG project:<\/strong> US based storage facilities and terminal construction player CB&I secured a lump sum contract valued between USD 250 mn and 500 mn for tanks for the Ruwais LNG project, the company announced in a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2025\/1\/489.pdf\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release (pdf)<\/a>. The award comes from TJN Ruwais JV \u2014 a consortium of Technip Energies France-Abu Dhabi, JGC Corporation, and NMDC Energy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The scope:<\/strong> CB&I will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of two 180k cubic meter full containment concrete LNG tanks, through its offices in the UAE, the US, and Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. The contract includes civil, structural, mechanical, and piping works to support the region\u2019s first net-zero LNG facility.
