The Iraqi Cabinet gave the go-ahead to sign a contract with Sharjah-based <\/strong>Crescen<\/a><\/strong>t Petroleum<\/a><\/strong> to secure 100 mn cubic feet of gas for its electric power plants, the Iraqi News Agency<\/a> (INA) reports. The Iraqi Oil Ministry had awarded Crescent Petroleum the rights to two oil fields in<\/a>2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

HEALTHCARE- <\/p>\n

PureHealth-backed Ardent expands its presence in the US:<\/strong> US hospital operator Ardent<\/a>Health Services<\/a>, an affiliate of Abu Dhabi-based PureHealth<\/a>, acquired 18 urgent care clinics in New Mexico and Oklahoma from NextCare Urgent Care<\/a>, according to a press release<\/a>. The move aims to boost capacity across Ardent\u2019s network of clinics and emergency departments, the company\u2019s CEO Marty Bonick said.<\/p>\n

Remember-<\/strong> PureHealth acquired a 26.05% stake<\/a> in Ardent for USD 500 mn back in September 2022.<\/p>\n

UAE-based Web3 platform <\/strong>Klickl<\/a><\/strong> partnered with all-digital bank <\/strong>Zand<\/a><\/strong> to access its <\/strong>banking solutions<\/strong>, intending to facilitate business transactions and optimize financial management, Klickl said in a statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ICYMI- <\/strong>Zand received approval from Dubai\u2019s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority last month<\/a> to offer digital asset custody services for corporate and institutional investors. #1- Indian engineering firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) will build a set of EHV sub<\/strong>stations <\/strong>in Dubai<\/strong> \u2014 including a 400\/132kV facility \u2014 through its power transmission and distribution arm, it said in a press releas<\/a>e<\/a>. This comes as part of a new round of orders received for projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and India.
