The platform is set to invest in lower-carbon transition fuel, making \u201csmarter, cleaner and more affordable energy accessible for Egypt and the world,\u201d said Executive Chairman of XRG and Industry and Advanced Technology Minister Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Arcius' concessions in Egypt include<\/strong> a 10% interest in the Shorouk offshore concession, containing the giant Zohr field operated by Eni, and 100% of North Damietta, containing Pharaonic Petroleum Company\u2019s Atoll field, the statement said. The agreement is effective from 2028, upon the start of Ruwais project\u2019s commercial operations. The Emirati gas giant is set to provide EnBW 0.6 mn tonnes a year (mtpa) of LNG. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>About the Ruwais LNG project: <\/strong>The Ruwais project has two liquefaction trains with a combined capacity of 9.6 mtpa. Over 8 mtpa of the project\u2019s total production capacity has been pledged to international customers through long-term agreements, including agreements with Japanese, Indian, and European buyers. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ICYMI- <\/strong>Adnoc subsidiary Adnoc Gas said in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/ee2c5c60-7a60-4c22-9634-ae56c1d4b7ea\/%253cmark%253eadnoc%253c%2Fmark%253e-gas-to-acquire-60%2525-of-ruwais-lng,-to-pour-usd-15-bn-into-growth-by-2029\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">November<\/a> that it is set to acquire a 60% stake in the Ruwais LNG project from its parent group Adnoc, at an estimated USD 5 bn.
