Ajman\u2019s Evaluation and Reconciliation Committee gets a regulatory <\/strong>makeover:<\/strong> Ajman Ruler Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi issued an Emiri decree to restructure the Evaluation and Reconciliation Committee\u2019s regulations, Wam<\/a> reports. The committee will now be the only authority responsible for property valuation in Ajman, issuing official certificates valid for three months. <\/p>\n

Other duties of the committee include resolving disputes, facilitating property value <\/strong>reconciliation, and endorsing amicable settlement agreements.<\/strong> The committee can act as a settlement mediator in disputes between heirs in cases of inherited real estate. Decisions around settlements will be issued within 90 days of receiving the request, and if an amicable settlement isn\u2019t possible, the case will be referred to the court.<\/p>\n

So when can an owner request a revaluation of their property?<\/strong> Within 30 days of receiving the original valuation, according to the new regs. <\/p>\n

The committee\u2019s members will be selected by the Crown Prince of Ajman for a term of <\/strong>three years<\/strong> on a renewable basis, reporting to the chairman of the land and real estate regulation department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
