Global neobank and financial technology company Revolut, <\/strong>appointed Ambareen Musa <\/strong>(<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as the CEO of its UAE office, <\/strong>according to a Linkedin post<\/a> .<\/strong> Musa has years of experience in the fintech sector, including as the founder and CEO of Yabi<\/a>, a financial education platform. <\/p>\n

REMEMBER-<\/strong> Revolut<\/a> has filed for licenses<\/a> to become an electronic-money institution and offer remittances in the UAE, an initial step it\u2019s taking ahead of applying for a full banking license. Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala also acquired a stake in the fintech as part of the USD 500 mn share sale in August, which valued the company at USD 45 bn. <\/p>\n

A specialist in corporate law, Hilton previously worked as regional managing partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer<\/a>, a position he held since July 2022. He spent nearly 24 years at Freshfields, including the last decade as a partner in the mergers and acquisitions team based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig<\/a><\/strong> has expanded its International Arbitration & Litigation Practice with the addition of Nassif BouMalhab (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as a shareholder in its UAE office<\/strong>, according to a press release<\/a>.
