The developer plans to introduce new luxury brands to the capital, the statement said, without disclosing a timelines for any of the projects. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The Abu Dhabi upgrades:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The six-hotel complex known as the Yas Plaza Hotels will become the world\u2019s <strong>largest Vignette Collection resort,<\/strong> dubbed <strong>Straylight Yas<\/strong>, featuring a private beach and new beachfront suites;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nurai Island <\/strong>will undergo <strong>\u201cmajor refurbishment and expansion\u201d <\/strong>into the <strong>largest resort in the region<\/strong>, with upgraded villas, F&B options, and luxury facilities;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tilal Liwa in Al Dhafra will also be rebranded under the Vignette Collection<\/strong>, and will feature new luxury suites, desert experiences, and upgraded F&B offerings, kids club, and spa facilities;<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Eastern Mangroves hotel<\/strong> will be <strong>upgraded<\/strong> to focus on luxury rooms and suites, as well as leisure and event facilities and new luxury residential and retail offerings, and will be rebranded as the <strong>Waldorf Astoria Abu Dhabi <\/strong>through a Hilton partnership;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>In <\/strong><strong>Ras Al Khaimah<\/strong>: Aldar will upgrade its Rixos Bab Al Bahr and DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island with phased renovations to guest rooms and public spaces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ICYMI- Aldar has kicked up its efforts to diversify its portfolio:<\/strong> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/602a7ebc-7b5a-4349-8997-ebf2bebb0f1f\/%253cmark%253ealdar%253c%2Fmark%253e,-mubadala-team-up-to-manage,-develop-aed-30-bn-real-estate-assets-in-abu-dhabi\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Last week<\/a>, it teamed up with Mubadala on four joint ventures to develop and manage real estate in Abu Dhabi worth AED 30 bn.
