Prior to that, Vikram spent 27 years at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/citibank\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Citibank<\/a>&nbsp;India, where he worked in several departments covering the commercial bank operations, investment and structured finance, digitization, credit processes, and risk management, the statement said. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">First Abu Dhabi Bank <\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">named <\/span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Salim Al Ali<\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> as <\/span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">chairman<\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> of the bank\u2019s <\/span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">internal<\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> <\/span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Shariah <\/strong><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">s<\/strong><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">upervision committee <\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">after receiving regulatory approval from the Central Bank\u2019s Higher Sharia Authority, according to a <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/press-release\/people-in-the-news\/first-abu-dhabi-bank-appoints-dr-salim-al-ali-as-chairman-of-internal-shariah-supervision-committee-b76yoluz\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">. Al Ali will stay in office for three years, until May 2027, according to the statement.
