The UAE ranked first globally in air transport infrastructure quality and air <\/strong>transport quality,<\/strong> Wam<\/a> reports, citing the World Economic Forum's 2024 Travel and Tourism Development Index and the International Institute for Management Development\u2019s 2023 Global Competitiveness Report. The country also topped the MENA region in the number of operating airlines and air transport agreements, and scored third place globally for both air transport services efficiency and available airline seat km.<\/p>\n

Mashreq bags MENA banking excellence award + four private banking awards: <\/strong>Our friends at Mashreq received the MENA Banking Excellence Award<\/a> for customer onboarding in retail banking, while its private banking decision received four additional accolades<\/a> at the Global Private Banking Awards, according to the bank. The bank was named the best private bank for funds, and was highly acclaimed in the best private bank in the UAE, best private bank in digital innovation, and outstanding mobile banking initiative categories. <\/p>\n

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank also received the best private bank in the UAE and the Middle East awards<\/strong>, as well as best private bank for private markets, according to two LinkedIn posts (here<\/a>, here<\/a>, and here<\/a>). <\/p>\n
