The sukuk, which would raise a minimum of USD 500 mn, is set to be rated B1\/-\/BB\u2013, IFR reported. Investor meetings and fixed income investor calls started yesterday. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>This would be Arada\u2019s second sukuk issuance:<\/strong> The Sharjah-based developer <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arada.com\/en\/latest-news\/arada-successfully-closes-landmark-debut-350-million-deal-completing-the-first-usd-corporate-sukuk-globally-in-2022\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">raised<\/a> USD 359 mn from its first foreign sukuk issuance back in 2022. The sukuk issuance was set at an 8.1% yield, and attracted USD 720 mn in orders. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ADVISORS-<\/strong> Our friends at <strong>Mashreq<\/strong>, along with <strong>RAK Bank<\/strong>,<strong> Sharjah Islamic Bank<\/strong>, and <strong>Warba Bank<\/strong>, are acting as joint lead managers and bookrunners. They are joined by <strong>Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank<\/strong>, <strong>Dubai Islamic Bank<\/strong>, <strong>Emirates NBD Capital<\/strong>, and <strong>Standard Chartered Bank<\/strong> as joint global coordinators, together with <strong>Arab Bank<\/strong>,<strong> Al Rajhi Capital<\/strong>, and <strong>Kamco Invest<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>News of the issuance follows the awarding of AED 1.48 bn in contract to develop its projects:<\/strong> The developer awarded AED 1.48 bn in contracts to Abu Dhabi-based <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pivot.ae\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Pivot Engineering<\/a> and Sharjah-based contractor <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/intermassgroup.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Intermass<\/a> for the development of the last two phases of its AED 9.5 bn woodland megaprojects, Masaar, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wam.ae\/en\/article\/b3j28gu-arada-awards-aed148-billion-contracts-build-final\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Wam<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Who\u2019s doing what? <\/strong>Intermass received a AED 830 mn contract to build 597 units in the sixth and final phase of the project, named Saro, while Pivot secured a AED 650 mn contract to build 428 residential units in Sequoia, the project\u2019s fifth phase. Intermass previously undertook the development of the first phase, Sendian, and is currently responsible for the construction of Masaar\u2019s third phase. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The timeline:<\/strong> Construction on the two phases is set to start immediately, with both slated for completion by summer 2026. Meanwhile, the second and third phases \u2014 dubbed Kaya and Robinia \u2014 are on track for completion in the coming months.
