Shuaa Capital appointed Badr Al Olama <\/strong>(LinkedIn<\/a>) as chairman <\/strong>of its board of directors, according to an ADX disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. Olama, who formerly served as an executive at Mubadala, was re-elected as an independent board member at Shuaa last week<\/a>, after former chairman Fadhel Al Ali stepped down from the position.<\/p>\n

Nabil <\/strong>Ramadhan<\/strong> was appointed as vice chairman<\/strong> and Ahmed Alahmadi<\/strong> (LinkedIn<\/a>) was appointed as the company\u2019s managing director<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

REMEMBER-<\/strong> The company \u2014 which has seen net losses deepen more than fivefold over the past year \u2014 also saw CFO Gunshyam Kripa resigning earlier in January, after seven months in the position, along with board members Andr\u00e9 George Sayegh and Maha AlQattan for \u201cpersonal reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n
