Etihad Airways<\/strong> has tapped John Wright<\/strong> (LinkedIn<\/a>) as interim COO and guest officer<\/strong>, as it embarks on a global talent search for a permanent appointment for the COO position, reports the National<\/a>. Wright previously held the position of vice president of network, airports, and cargo operations at Etihad. He replaces former COO Mohammad Al Bulooki (LinkedIn<\/a>), who resigned from his position after taking on the role in 2018. <\/p>\n

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan<\/strong> has appointed Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab <\/strong>(LinkedIn<\/a>) as the UAE\u2019s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, succeeding Ambassador Lana Nusseibeh, who has held the position since September 2013, Wam<\/a> reports. Abushahad assumes the role after joining the UAE mission to the UN as Deputy Permanent Representative in 2021.
