It\u2019s not clear whether Adnoc is in talks for a sale and purchase agreement or an equity stake, or both, the sources said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Adnoc is not alone in eyeing US\u2019 LNG:<\/strong>Saudi Arabia\u2019s state-owned oil firm <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aramco.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Aramco<\/a> is also eyeing an investment in the second phase of NextDecade\u2019s Texas Port Arthur project that could help expand the facility\u2019s operations by adding a second unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- The state-owned oil giant is planning to reach a final investment decision on its Ruwais liquified natural gas<\/strong><strong> (LNG) project in 1H 2024<\/strong>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-03-07\/adnoc-aims-to-reach-investment-decision-on-new-lng-plant-by-june\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg<\/a> reports, citing people it says are familiar with the plan. Adnoc is planning to use its own funds to expand production, the business information service said.
