ADQ acquired a majority equity stake in the company <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adq.ae\/newsroom\/adq-to-expand-its-food-agriculture-portfolio-by-acquiring-significant-stake-in-global-fresh-fruit-leader-unifrutti\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">in 2022<\/a>, as the fund looked to expand its food and agriculture portfolio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>About Verfrut:<\/strong> Verfrut is currently one of Chile and Peru\u2019s largest fruit producers, after nearly 30 years in the business.
