Approximately 110.6 bn shares traded hands throughout the year, with 58.2 bn on the ADX and 52.4 bn on the DFM, all carried out through 5.4 mn transactions. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Dubai\u2019s victory lap: <\/strong>Dubai\u2019s index wrapped 2023 up 21.8% y-o-y, after reaching its highest point in nearly eight years back in early October, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/uae-markets-gain-rate-cut-bets-2023-12-29\/#:~:text=The%20Dubai%20index%2C%20which%20hit,and%20Emirates%20NBD%2033.1%25%20higher.\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> reports.
