Emirates Health Services has a new board at the helm following a<\/strong> reshuffle. <\/strong>The federal authority appointed<\/a> Ahmed Al Sayegh as chairman \u2014 replacing Mohammad Al Olama \u2014 in a full reconstitution of its board of directors, state news agency Wam<\/a> reports. Al Sayegh is also the current health and prevention minister.<\/p>\n

The leadership change extend to the deputy role<\/strong>, with Yousif Al Serkal (LinkedIn<\/a>), director-general of Emirates Health Services, named deputy chairman and managing director, replacing Yousef Al Nuaimi. The rest of the previous board has been replaced under the new structure, which brings in a mix of government officials, healthcare leaders, and private sector representatives.<\/p>\n

Emirates Health Services? <\/strong>It reports to the cabinet and oversees federal healthcare delivery across the UAE.<\/p>\n

AND- US-based tech firm <\/strong>Hewlett <\/strong>Packard Enterprise (HPE) has handed the <\/strong>reins of<\/strong> its UAE business to a familiar face.<\/strong> The company promoted Michael Langeveld (LinkedIn<\/a>) to UAE country director, TechAfrica News<\/a> reports. HPE also tapped Ques Eden (LinkedIn<\/a>) as head of commercial sales UAE, and Santosh Lasrado (LinkedIn<\/a>) as head of tech UAE.<\/p>\n

A closer look: <\/strong>Langeveld joined HPE in 2022 and most recently served as head of technology and business development for the Emirates and Africa. His career includes tenures at IBM, Microsoft, and Huawei. Lasrado previously worked at Huawei and Emitac, while Eden worked at Alcatel-Lucent, in addition to his tenure at HPE.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
