Both are non-equity-dilutive facilities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">Why it matters<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The facilities are \u201cpioneering\u201d in that they offer a framework for \u201cstreamlined <\/strong><strong>access to funding for future initiatives\u201d<\/strong> and is at the same time non-equity dilutive \u2014 key here given Core42 is a government-owned firm, and state-owned firms in the UAE rarely give up any equity. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>It\u2019s also a sign that AI infrastructure is increasingly being financed like industrial capacity<\/strong> \u2014 with much bigger tickets \u2014 as investors wager on hardwired demand for compute and cloud capacity. The fact that it\u2019s structured as trade finance means banks are treating AI compute capacity and the underlying hardware (GPUs, servers, and data center components) as an industrial-grade, exportable asset class much like oil, commodities, or electronics.
