The facility is sustainability-linked, incorporating environmental, social, and governance aspects, and includes extra revolving financing lines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Next up?<\/strong> The facility will go towards BFL\u2019s everyday operations and trading activity. BFL had been expanding in Southeast Asia, with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2025\/01\/22\/uae-economy-minister-denies-plans-for-income-tax-dubai-retailer-bfl-considers-ipo-to-fund-growth\/\" style=\"\">stores in Singapore and Malaysia opening<\/a> last year. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- Sharjah-based developer Arada secured a five-year USD 100 mn f<\/strong><strong>acility from First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) to fund project development<\/strong>, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arada.com\/en\/latest-news\/arada-signs-100-million-shariah-compliant-sustainability-linked-financing-with-fab-backed-by-italian-export-credit-agency-sace\/\" style=\"\">press release<\/a>. Italy\u2019s state-owned export credit agency Sace is the guarantor for the financing. Sace has <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2025\/02\/26\/uae-italy-strengthen-investment-ties-with-three-new-mous\/\" style=\"\">been involved<\/a> with similar agreements with Emirati players before.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Why now? <\/strong>Arada has big plans in the pipeline.
