Daman is planning on launching its crypto platform in mid-May and is eventually eyeing expansion outside the UAE, while the move marks ARP Digital\u2019s first expansion out of Bahrain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">UAE firm makes industrial moves in Egypt<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>A new UAE-backed factories complex in Egypt in the pipeline: <\/strong>UAE-based investment firm Alpha Smart inked an agreement with Egypt\u2019s Suez Canal Economic Zone to develop a USD 100 mn integrated industrial complex spanning 500k sqm in Egypt\u2019s Ain Sokhna area, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SCZONE.EG\/posts\/pfbid0KWkLN1UqXBay9rnUjnLdreMa9ciGgWczYavGYbAX7gcmvyqUPeqJSzr7rtA1HgWol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>The details: <\/strong>The project, to be implemented in two phases over six years, is expected to attract an additional USD 150 mn in industrial investments. The complex will offer fully equipped factory units that allow companies to begin operations within 90 days, alongside logistics, administrative, and commercial facilities. It\u2019ll also include a 25 MW power facility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">Citadel is heading to DIFC<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>US-based multinational hedge fund <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Citadel<\/a><\/strong> <strong> has received the regulatory green <\/strong><strong>light to start operating from the Dubai International Financial <\/strong><strong>Cent<\/strong><strong>re (DIFC)<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-04-28\/citadel-said-to-get-greenlight-to-begin-operating-in-dubai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg<\/a> reports, citing unnamed sources it says are familiar with the matter. The firm \u2014 which manages USD 67 bn in assets \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-12-18\/citadel-plans-dubai-office-in-boost-for-city-s-hedge-fund-hopes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first revealed plans<\/a> to move to the emirate late last year.
