The decline was primarily attributed to a one-off USD 129 mn impairment in its smart solutions segment. While consolidated revenues dipped 8% to USD 577 mn, the group\u2019s space services division posted a record USD 452 mn in revenue, rising 6% y-o-y, driven by a 9% increase in government contracts. Growth was bolstered by the launch of the group\u2019s Thuraya 4 Satellite, via a USD 700 mn, 15-year government contract.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Looking ahead: <\/strong>The group\u2019s USD 5.1 bn contracts for its two new satellites, Al Yah 4 (launching in 2027) and Al Yah 5 (launching in 2028), are set to boost future results, helping Space42 to predict USD 300 mn in annual revenue from 4Q 2026 onwards.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" id=\"kix.pnes4iwtge23\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">Flydubai posts solid 2025 results <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>A <\/strong><strong>good<\/strong><strong> year for Flydubai: <\/strong>Low-cost carrier Flydubai saw a 14% y-o-y rise in its net income to AED 1.9 bn in FY 2025, while its total revenue rose 6% y-o-y to AED 13.6 bn during the same period, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.flydubai.com\/flydubai-reports-strong-2025-performance-driven-by-record-revenue-passenger-growth-and-strategic-network-expansion\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>On the operations front<\/strong>, Flydubai added 12 Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet and expanded to nine new destinations. The firm\u2019s overall network capacity also recorded a 6% boost, operating 126k flights and carrying 15.7 mn passengers. The airline also locked in its retrofit program, retrofitting eight next-generation Boeing 737-8 jets in 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>What\u2019s next?<\/strong> The carrier expects to take delivery of 12 jets in 2026, expecting that \u201cdemand for travel remains healthy despite ongoing challenges,\u201d CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- A capacity surge is coming soon. <\/strong>The airline made a massive <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/logistics\/2025\/11\/19\/dubai-airshows-day-two-racked-in-a-slew-of-aircraft-orders-and-collabs\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">150 Airbus<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/logistics\/2025\/11\/19\/dubai-airshows-day-two-racked-in-a-slew-of-aircraft-orders-and-collabs\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">A321neo order<\/a> late last year at the Dubai Airshow.
