Janus<\/strong> Henderson appoints new hire to lead Middle East intermediary <\/strong>business: <\/strong>Global asset management firm Janus Henderson tapped Naveen Kumar (LinkedIn<\/a>) as senior associate director, according to a press release<\/a>. Based in Dubai, Kumar will focus on expanding the asset manager\u2019s intermediary partner relations in the Middle East, with a primary focus on regional banks, issuers, and distribution partners.<\/p>\n

Kumar brings over 22 years of experience in financial services<\/strong>, including, most recently, a 15-year tenure at global investment management firm Franklin Templeton. He also held senior roles at HSBC Asset Management, Karvy Stock Broking, and ICICI Bank.<\/p>\n

Tadweer<\/strong> names new CEO: <\/strong>Abu Dhabi-based waste management firm Tadweer Group named Etienne Petit (LinkedIn<\/a>) as its new CEO, according to a press release<\/a> and separate post on LinkedIn<\/a>. Petit will oversee the delivery of key projects and operations for the firm, which has recently expanded to Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Petit joins the firm with over 30 years of experience in the waste treatment sector<\/strong>, including a 26-year tenure at French transnational waste management firm Veolia, where he held senior roles in its overseas operations. He also held a position at industrial and financial firm Compagnie Chargeurs Invest.<\/p>\n

Ajman<\/strong> Bank names new CTO: <\/strong>Ajman Bank named Joseph George (LinkedIn<\/a>) as its new chief technology officer, according to a press release<\/a>. George will lead on AI integration and digital transformation at the lender, with a focus on cybersecurity frameworks.<\/p>\n
