<\/a> Archeo Futurus, <\/strong>Day<\/strong>walker Global to invest hundreds of mns USD in Abu<\/strong> Dhabi tech + media:<\/strong> US cloud services and computing technology company Archeo Futurus<\/a> and conglomerate Daywalker Global will invest USD 200 mn to develop advanced computing, media-production, and education capabilities in Abu Dhabi, according to a press relea<\/a>se<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where <\/strong>will the money go?<\/strong> The companies will establish a media and technology innovation center in Abu Dhabi in 2026, focused on advanced computing, cloud technologies, AI infrastructure, and media production capabilities. They also intend to film at least two major motion pictures in the UAE next year.<\/p>\n

A new firm to help them get there:<\/strong> The firms created technology investment firm Trillium Technologies<\/a> to support their investment plan. Trillium invests and acquires companies and assets that cover digital transformation and long\u2011term value creation, according to its website<\/a>. They also launched the world\u2019s first computer-securitized bond, now listed in the US and on the Vienna Stock Exchange. <\/p>\n

Trillium secured a fully collateralized USD 300 mn private placement offering <\/strong>to develop and monetize compute credits for Archeo Futurus\u2019 cloud platform, Data Center Dynamics<\/a> reports. It will also use the proceeds to expand Archeo\u2019s existing infrastructure. <\/p>\n

SOUND SMART-<\/strong> Compute credits are prepaid units of cloud computing power, storage, and bandwidth that can be used for digital services or securitized as tradable financial assets.<\/p>\n
