CE-Invests t<\/strong>o deploy AED 1 bn across GCC, India, and Southeast Asia:<\/strong> Crescent Enterprises\u2019 strategic investments platform CE-Invests plans to invest AED 1 bn over the next three years across India, Southeast Asia, and the GCC, according to a press release<\/a>. The plan, which includes both direct investments and fund allocations, targets four key sectors: consumer, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n

The investment firm plans to acquire significant minority stakes through AED 75-200 mn tickets<\/strong>, the statement added. <\/p>\n

Why those markets?<\/strong> \u201cLarge, youthful populations with rising incomes and investor\u2011friendly policies make our target markets ideal for scaling businesses and compounding returns,\u201d Senior VP at CE\u2011Invests Ghada Abdelkader said. <\/p>\n

An <\/strong>Israeli lab-grown dairy startup secured USD 20 mn from UAE fund <\/strong>Tau Capital<\/a><\/strong>, <\/strong>an venture capital fund backed by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan in what is one of few Gulf investments into Israel since the war in Gaza began in 2023, Bloomberg<\/a> reports. The startup is eyeing further Gulf investments, including from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, to support the commercial rollout of its fermentation-based, cowfree milk protein, CEO Aviv Wolff said, citing growing interest from Gulf states in food security and deep tech.<\/p>\n
