The project with Dallah Albaraka\u2019s Samla and Alam Al Roum for Urban Development will require EGP 78 bn \u2014 equivalent to around USD 1.7 bn \u2014 in investments and is expected to bring in returns totalling EGP 117 bn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The 380-feddan project will be in New Cairo\u2019s Kayameya district. <\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Details are still few and far between, but they say the development will feature residential, administrative, and commercial components.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>This isn\u2019t even Emaar Misr\u2019s biggest development in the works<\/strong>, with the developer working on a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/cf61b428-c1ee-4d32-a298-433546fd47da\/emaar-misr,-citystars-to-develop-a-egp-900-bn-marassi-on-the-red-sea\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">EGP 900 bn integrated tourism complex<\/a> alongside Saudi-owned Citystars Properties called Marassi Red Sea. Earlier in the year, Emaar also partnered with Midar for Investment and Urban Development to launch <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/2b52167f-7c5f-471d-8bda-1089b05f43d2\/emaar-to-invest-egp-100-bn-setting-up-new-mivida\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">New Mivida<\/a> in New Cairo, an EGP 100 bn residential project that includes nearly 2.9k homes, a school, and a sports club.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>DATA POINT- <\/strong>Emaar\u2019s investment in Egypt now totals EGP 1.9 tn, while its land bank currently stretches some 34.6 mn square metres.
