The firm will provide financial institutions with specialized integration services to boost operational efficiency, while looking to form partnerships with regional players \u2014 including fintechs and regulators \u2014 and to invest in developing local talent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- <\/strong><strong>DFSA <\/strong><strong>restricts <\/strong><strong>HDFC Bank<\/strong><strong>\u2019s DIFC operations: <\/strong>The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has barred India\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hdfcbank.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">HDFC Bank<\/a> from onboarding or soliciting new clients at its branch in Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.khaleejtimes.com\/uae\/dubai-authority-bars-hdfc-banks-difc-branch-from-taking-new-clients\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Khaleej Times<\/a> reports, citing a decision notice it has seen. Services to existing customers and pending onboardings remain unaffected. HDFC said it is complying with the directive and is committed to \u201cpromptly remediate and address concerns.\u201d <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>IN CONTEXT- <\/strong>HDFC Bank had come under DFSA scrutiny in June after it bypassed investor safeguarding rules by selling high-risk bonds to retail investors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">MANUFACTURING- <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Star Paper Mills will launch a USD 54 mn recycled container board mill in Khalifa<\/strong><strong> Economic Zones Abu Dhabi<\/strong> (Kezad), according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/press-release\/companies-news\/star-paper-mills-to-announce-switch-on-of-54mln-recycled-container-board-mill-in-kezad-at-propaper-2025-a1euvf4e\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>. Construction on the mill is already 95% complete, with trial production expected by the end of this year. The facility will produce 135k tons per year of biodegradable container boards from waste paper \u2014 80% of which will be locally sourced \u2014 in a bid to reduce the emirate\u2019s reliance on imports.
