Al <\/strong>Wathba <\/strong>Ins. appoints new CEO:<\/strong> Al Wathba National Ins. has named Shukri Almheiri as its new chief executive officer (CEO), according to an ADX disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. Almheiri has over 30 years of experience in ins., investment, and corporate governance and will lead the company\u2019s goal to reach revenues of AED 2 bn by 2030. Almheiri has been a board member since 1998 and has also held senior positions at Adnoc, the Health Ministry, Dubai Investment Industries, and Abu Dhabi Investment Company.<\/p>\n

Senior<\/strong> executive at Goldman Sachs retires:<\/strong> Goldman Sachs\u2019 co-chief executive for the Middle East and North Africa region, Fadi Abuali (LinkedIn<\/a>), will retire, Bloomberg<\/a> reports, citing an internal company memo confirmed by a spokesperson. Abuali was appointed co-CEO, alongside Zaid Khaldi, in 2020, and also served as co-head of the firm\u2019s international asset management arm.<\/p>\n

Bildco\u2019s board chairman resigns: <\/strong>Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials\u2019s (Bildco) board of directors has accepted Omran Al Hallami<\/a> \u2019s resignation as chairman, according to a disclosure (pdf)<\/a>. Al Hallami joined as chairman last year<\/a>. <\/p>\n
