Abu <\/strong>Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) reported a 10.8% y-o-y increase in<\/strong> net income to <\/strong>AED 2.6 bn in 2Q 2025,<\/strong> according to the bank's financial statements (pdf)<\/a>. The results exceeded LSEG analyst expectations of AED 2.3 bn in net income, Reuters<\/a> reports. Operating income rose 21.5% y-o-y to AED 5.7 bn, with net interest income up 12% y-o-y to AED 3.7 bn.<\/p>\n

On a sixth month basis, the lender\u2019s bottom line came in at AED 5 bn<\/strong>, up 12.5% y-o-y. Its operating income was up 15.5% y-o-y to AED 10.7 bn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Business confidence + healthy balance sheet growth: <\/strong>\u201cBalance sheet growth remains strong amid healthy consumer and business confidence and ample system liquidity,\u201d the lender said in an accompanying earnings release (pdf)<\/a>. The bank also cited strong performance across its key operations, as well as growth in the energy, financial institutions, transport, comms, and trading sectors, as driving the results.
