This will keep interest rates higher than trend for longer, BMI added. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>UAE banks are still well positioned compared to GCC peers: <\/strong>The UAE\u2019s banks <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/71bd15d0-3aa5-4270-8ec8-ab8dd3177246\/uae-banks-are-the-most-resilient-among-gcc-peers-in-the-face-of-impacts-from-tariffs,-s&p-global-says\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">have<\/a> \u201cthe strongest net external asset position\u201d among GCC countries, giving them the highest resilience to any potential capital outflows resulting from current volatility in the market, ratings agency S&P Global said in April.
