Iranian threats to close the oil supply chokepoint Strait of Hormuz \u2014 potentially leading to the cutting off about 20% of the world\u2019s daily oil supply \u2014 has deepened oil concerns further. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"> <a id=\"wwtt1\"><\/a> <strong>The <\/strong><strong>UAE condemned Israel\u2019s military targeting of Iran \u201cin the strongest<\/strong><strong> terms,\u201d <\/strong>warning of the risks of further escalation and calling for immediate de-escalation in a Foreign Affairs Ministry <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mofa.gov.ae\/en\/mediahub\/news\/2025\/6\/13\/13-6-2025-uae-iran\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.
