Mubadala to supply P<\/strong>upuk with gas: <\/strong>Mubadala Energy has signed an initial agreement to provide 200 mn standard cubic feet per day (mcf\/d) of gas to Indonesian state fertilizer producer Pupuk Indonesia<\/a>, Mubadala Head of Comms Paul Slinger told Reuters<\/a>. Some 115 mn mcf\/d will go towards Pupuk\u2019s methanol plant while the remaining 85 mn will be allocated to its ammonia plant. <\/p>\n

The timeline: <\/strong>The supply will reach Pupuk\u2019s projects once production at Mubadala\u2019s South Andaman Block kicks off. The facility\u2019s <\/span>Tangkulo-1<\/a> well is expected to begin production in late 2028 and has more than 2 tn cubic ft (tcf) of gas-in-place potential. Located in the same block, the Layaran-1 well has potential for over 6 tcf of gas-in-place.<\/span><\/p>\n

REMEMBER- <\/strong>Mubadala inked an agreement<\/a> with Indonesia\u2019s Perusahaan Listrik Negara in December to explore power generation from the South Andaman blocks to address Indonesia\u2019s energy demand and for infrastructure development. The company wrapped up its drilling campaign in South Andaman in September and is also developing the Central Andaman<\/a> oil and gas block with the UK\u2019s Harbour Energy after signing a development contract with Indonesia\u2019s government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
