Edge Group\u2019s naval arm Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADS<\/strong>B) made three executive<\/strong> appointments<\/strong>, it said in a press release (pdf)<\/a>. Francesco Lo Monaco<\/strong> (LinkedIn<\/a>), previously acting CTO, now takes the helm as CTO<\/strong>, bringing over 20 years of experience in the maritime and defense industries. Maktoom AlShehhi<\/strong>, (LinkedIn<\/a>) formerly director of MRO services, steps in as COO<\/strong>, bringing his expertise in maintenance, repair, and operations. Abdelrahman Al Rousi<\/strong> (LinkedIn<\/a>), who served as director of mission systems, is now director of business development. <\/p>\n

The Dubai<\/strong> Financial Services Authority appointed Mark Steward (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) a<\/strong>s its <\/strong>new CEO<\/strong>, it said in a press release<\/a>. He was previously an executive director at the UK\u2019s Financial Conduct Authority, and has over 30 years experience of regulation in the financial sectors in Australia, the UK and Hong Kong. Steward will begin the three-year term from 19 May 2025, and succeeds Ian Johnston (LinkedIn<\/a>) who held the position for two terms. <\/p>\n

PLUS- <\/strong>FAB eyes<\/strong> former Citigroup vice chairman:<\/strong> First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is in talks to hire Linos Lekkas (LinkedIn<\/a>), former vice chairman and managing director at Citigroup<\/a>, Bloomberg<\/a> reports, citing sources familiar with the matter.
