href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2026\/05\/18\/adnoc-set-to-accelerate-west-east-pipeline-construction-as-it-hedges-against-supply-chain-bottlenecks\/\" style=\"\">second pipeline bypassing the strait<\/a> still being under construction. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-06-08\/uae-sells-bumper-gulf-oil-volumes-for-loading-over-coming-months\" style=\"\">Bloomberg<\/a> \u2019s tanker data indicates exports held at about 2.6 mn bbl \/ d in May \u2014 not too far from its 3.1 mn bbl \/ d exports last year \u2014 and that\u2019s thanks to a series of moves from Adnoc ranging from spot sales and flexible delivery options to braving through the strait in the dark. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Adnoc sold at least 14 mn bbl of crude to Asian buyers through a spot <\/strong><strong>tender<\/strong>, the business information service says, citing traders in the know. The cargoes \u2014 comprising Upper Zakum, Umm Lulu, and Das Blend crude \u2014 were placed with refiners across China, Japan, South Korea, and India, reportedly at premiums a few greenbacks above the Dubai benchmark; a sign that buyers are willing to pay up for crude that can be delivered despite logistical and security complications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>That pricing strength has also shown up in Adnoc\u2019s official selling<\/strong><strong> prices. <\/strong>The company raised its May OSP to USD 110 \/ bbl from USD 69 in April as security and logistics costs continue to be priced into Gulf crude flows.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The sale follows the June-September loading tender <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2026\/06\/03\/this-morning-adnoc-resumes-naphtha-exports-via-oman-eyes-a-multi-fuel-pipeline-bypassing-hormuz\/\" style=\"\">we reported on last week<\/a><\/strong>, which allowed buyers to bid for up to 2 mn bbl per cargo on a cost-and-freight basis. The scale of the offering suggested Adnoc was prepared to market substantial volumes despite ongoing disruption to Gulf shipping routes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>More barrels are on the way \u2014 and delivery is looking very different. <\/strong>Adnoc launched a second tender offering the same crude grades for June-August loading, closing on 11 June <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/adnoc-issues-second-tender-uae-crude-cargoes-one-week-2026-06-08\/\" style=\"\">Reuters<\/a> reports. Buyers can bid for up to 2 mn bbl per cargo, with crude available from Fujairah storage, Zirku Island, Das Island, or via ship-to-ship transfers between Fujairah and Sohar.
