Canadian pension funds \u2014 which manage USD 2 tn \u2014 will also travel to the UAE in 2026 to pursue long-term investments and partnerships and Emirati sovereign wealth funds will visit Canada. The two countries are also increasing the number of flights operating between them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Canada pivots away from US:<\/strong> The Canadian government is aiming to double non-US exports over 10 years and bring in USD 1 tn in new investments in five years. The US is Canada\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.international.gc.ca\/country-pays\/us-eu\/relations.aspx?lang=eng\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">largest trading partner<\/a>, with over USD 909.1 bn traded <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ustr.gov\/countries-regions\/americas\/canada\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">last year<\/a>, though trade talks over lowering US-imposed tariffs have stalled after US President Donald Trump took offense to an anti-levy advertisement.
