Adia\u2019s contribution came in at upwards of USD 675 mn. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Next up: <\/strong>The fund will focus on providing growth and development financing across residential, commercial, and other real estate segments in major Indian cities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Who are they? <\/strong>A specialized subsidiary of the Kotak Mahindra Group<strong>, <\/strong>Kotak Alternate Asset Managers is India\u2019s leading alternative asset management and investment advisory firm. Kotak has raised, managed, or advised over USD 22 bn in total investments across a diverse range of asset classes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>\u201cAdia\u2019s sixth consecutive commitment is a testament to the trust earned over a decade of consistent delivery,\u201d <\/strong>Kotak Managing Director Srini Sriniwasan <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/companies\/news\/kotak-alternate-asset-managers-closes-1-billion-real-estate-fund-126060301077_1.html\" style=\"\">said<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Adia has been <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2025\/09\/22\/why-asia-is-the-next-frontier-for-gulf-sovereign-wealth-funds\/\" style=\"\">expanding its India portfolio<\/a><\/strong><strong> in recent years. <\/strong>Back <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2024\/02\/08\/adia-to-invest-usd-4-5-bn-in-indias-gift-city\/\" style=\"\">in 2024<\/a>, it announced plans for a USD 4-5 bn fund in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, and last year it backed the IPOs of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2025\/11\/04\/adia-backs-the-ipo-of-indian-digital-stockbroker-groww\/\" style=\"\">Indian digital stockbroker Groww<\/a> and Bengaluru-based solar manufacturer <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2025\/11\/12\/adia-backs-yet-another-indian-ipo\/\" style=\"\">Emmvee Photovoltaic Power<\/a>. Wider UAE-India cooperation received a boost <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/uae\/2026\/01\/20\/uae-india-agreement-blitz\/\" style=\"\">in January<\/a>, as the two sides pledged more collaboration, including on trade and investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Adia<\/strong><strong> also participated in Acme Solar\u2019s qualified institutional placement (QIP)<\/strong> <strong>which raised INR 28 bn <\/strong>(USD 328 mn) for the firm, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ptinews.com\/story\/business\/acme-solar-raises-rs-2-800-cr-via-qip-route\/3736865\" style=\"\">PTI<\/a> reports. The exact size of Adia\u2019s investment was not disclosed at the time of dispatch. The SWF joined marquee global investors including BlackRock, Amundi, Goldman Sachs and Pictet. This was Acme\u2019s first equity raise since listing on Indian exchanges in 2024. Proceeds from the raise will go toward reducing debt and strengthening Acme\u2019s balance sheet. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Market reaction: <\/strong>Following the announcement, Acme\u2019s shares touched a fresh 52-week high on the National Stock Exchange before trading 1.86% above the previous close. The stock has gained 48% YTD, with the company\u2019s market capitalization at around INR 213.48 bn (USD 2.5 bn).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Acme boasts 2.9 GW of installed renewable power generation capacity and is expected to add another 5GW.<\/strong> Most of its power is sold under long-term fixed-tariff agreements to government-backed buyers. ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services were the bookrunning lead managers for the QIP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>ICYMI-
