SBI to sell 6.3% stake in fund arm:<\/strong> Public sector lender State Bank of India (SBI) will sell a 6.3% stake in its asset-management joint venture SBI Funds Management (SBIFML) through an IPO, Reuters<\/a> reports. <\/p>\n

Joint venture structure: <\/strong>SBIFML is a joint venture between SBI and Amundi India Holding, a subsidiary of French asset manager Amundi SA. SBI holds 61.9%, while Amundi India Holding owns 36.4% in the firm. Amundi will sell an additional 3.7% stake in the IPO, taking the total offer size to about 10% SBIFML\u2019s equity. <\/p>\n

Business scale: <\/strong>The fund manager oversees nearly INR 120 bn (USD 1.37 bn) in assets, catering to retail and institutional investors through mutual funds and investment portfolios. <\/p>\n
