EgyptAir says the new jets will cut fuel use and emissions by 20% compared to their predecessors and will serve short- and medium-haul routes, including Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, and Vienna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>It looks like the airline is also about to get a new Airbus A350-900<\/strong>, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.com\/@spotterintel\/post\/DX4KxjBFDZ_?xmt=AQF0Z1zqqRWo1Zng-FqAT_G11PN6XYNxSnmKP1eXeMLy0SIPzYZ8dUX3gXwn3g8Q_5MW2d01&amp;slof=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AeroSignals<\/a> said yesterday afternoon was on its way from Toulouse-Blagnac to Cairo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>The delivery is part of EgyptAir\u2019s broader fleet modernization push: <\/strong>The carrier said in <a href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseam.com\/egypt\/2026\/02\/16\/egyptair-scales-up-with-12-aircrafts-this-year-despite-global-supply-constraints\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February<\/a> it would add 12 aircraft this year, part of a wider push to integrate 34 new Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 737-8 Max jets into its fleet by 2031.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">New shipping services hit Saudi ports<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdullah Port are now connected to major <\/strong><strong>European hubs like Gda\u0144sk and Antwerp<\/strong>, thanks to the addition of MSC\u2019s shipping service Middle East Express, the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MawaniKSA\/status\/2050660752722153630\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a>. The service, which has a 16k-TEU handling capacity, also integrates a land transport link from King Abdullah Port to King Abdulaziz Port.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0;margin: 0;line-height: 1.15;text-align: left\"><strong>Jeddah Islamic Port <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MawaniKSA\/status\/2050528662328324149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">also saw the addition<\/a><\/strong><strong> of a new service by CMA CGM<\/strong>, Ocean Rise, which will connect the port to nine ports across Western Europe and Far East Asia.
