Why this matters:<\/strong> The move is part of a broader expansion strategy that Asyad Group has already framed at USD 2.3-2.6 bn through 2029, with USD 914 mn in committed capex already underway. The company\u2019s roadmap signals a bigger, younger, and more tightly controlled fleet by 2029, with growth focused on crude, dry bulk, and gas, alongside the phased disposal of older vessels across segments, according to the company\u2019s IPO disclosure (pdf)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Zooming in \u2014 why drybulk, crude, and gas? <\/strong>Crude remains the company\u2019s largest<\/a> earnings driver at 33%, followed by dry bulk at 19% \u2014 supported by long-term contracts with metallurgical producers \u2014 while gas contributes 18%, with additional vessels already on order.<\/p>\n
