This follows DP World\u2019s launch of a 36-hour <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dpworld.com\/uae\/news\/releases\/dp-world-launches-36-hour-dubai-iraq-sea-link-cutting-costs-and-transit-times\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">maritime service<\/a> linking Dubai\u2019s Port Rashid to Iraq\u2019s Umm Qasr, utilizing a specialized roll-on\/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel for 145 accompanied trailers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Why does it matter? <\/strong>The moves can provide a layer of predictability to Iraq-bound shipments, where land borders have been historically subject to congestion.
