DHL <\/strong>taps new CEO for Middle East and Africa\u2026: <\/strong>DHL Global Forwarding has appointed Tobias Maier (LinkedIn<\/a>) as the new head of Middle East and Africa as of 1 December 2025, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a>. He succeeds Amadou Diallo, who is departing after more than eight years at the helm. <\/p>\n

Tobias Maier has some 17 years of experience at DHL<\/strong>, most recently acting as CFO for the Middle East and Africa region. Maier also assumed the role of CEO of Saloodo!<\/a> Middle East and Africa \u2014 DHL\u2019s digital freight platform. He was involved in driving regional M&A moves and expanding DHL's footprint in KSA, Algeria, Ethiopia, and the UAE.<\/p>\n

\u2026and<\/strong> ex-boss<\/strong> Amadou Diallo is joining Aramex: <\/strong>Aramex \u2014 the leading global provider of logistics and transportation solutions \u2014 has appointed Diallo as Group CEO (Linkedin<\/a>) \u2014 effective 1 May 2026, according to a press release (<\/a>pdf<\/a>)<\/a>. He brings over 30 years of global experience, having most recently served as CEO for the Middle East and Africa DHL Global Forwarding. His background covers freight, express, and supply chain operations.
