GFH expands its logistics portfolio in KSA:<\/strong> GFH Partners \u2014 the Dubai-based global asset management arm of Bahraini GFH Financial Group \u2014 has acquired a fully leased, high-spec logistics facility in Riyadh\u2019s industrial district at a SAR 200 mn (USD 53 mn) investment ticket, according to a press release<\/a>. The acquisition marks the asset manager\u2019s fourth logistics asset in the Kingdom. <\/p>\n

Built <\/strong>different<\/strong>: <\/strong>The facility \u2014 spanning over 40k sqm \u2014 includes multiple truck docking bays, robust electric capacity, and 12-meter clear heights within its operational space. The hub\u2019s location next to Riyadh\u2019s Eastern and Southern ring roads is set to boost its connectivity to multimodal transport corridors \u2014 positioning it as a gateway for major logistics firms, Gulf News<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

A boon for GFH: <\/strong>Following the acquisition, GFH\u2019s total logistics and industrial assets in the GCC are set to reach nearly SAR 1.5 bn \u2014 with its global portfolio currently exceeding SAR 26 bn in managed assets. The firm\u2019s logistics platform now has the capacity to host over 120 tenants across the Kingdom and the UAE \u2014 with facilities in Dubai South, Dammam, Riyadh, and Jafza<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A long-time coming:<\/strong> GFH Financial Group inked a partnership agreement last year<\/a> with European real estate developer Panattoni\u2019s Saudi arm to develop premium logistics facilities worth SAR 2 bn (USD 500 mn) in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam over a five-year timeframe.<\/p>\n

GFH\u2019s been making logistics moves:<\/strong> GFH Partners acquired Manrre REIT, a logistics and industrial assets fund registered with Nasdaq Dubai\u2019s share depository, for USD 75.5 mn, becoming its sole fund manager in January<\/a>.
