Shall we?<\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">WATCH THIS SPACE-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt1\"><\/a> <\/strong> <strong>#1- <\/strong><strong>Another <\/strong><strong>vessel struck in the Red Sea<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> A Liberian-flagged and Greek-operated bulk vessel, the Eternity C, was attacked on Monday by a drone and a speedboat off the coast of Yemen, killing three crew members and wounding two, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/mideast-wars-yemen-houthis-israel-6dc55ee05a9d1e78621788aa0bc52168\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> reports, citing the European Union naval force. As of the early hours this morning, the remaining crew is still aboard the vessel as it drifts in the Red Sea. The Houthis have yet to claim the attack. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>This is the second attack on commercial ships in the waterway after over six <\/strong><strong>months <\/strong><strong>of relative calm in the waterway. <\/strong>Earlier this week, 22 people aboard the Magic Seas vessel were <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/f7af0f59-34cb-403f-aba9-1d20b6badec5\/today:-telecom-disruption-in-egypt-%2B-more-june-pmi-readings-roll-in\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">rescued<\/a> by an AD Ports-operated vessel after Houthis attacked it with gunfire, rockets, and explosive-laden remote-controlled boats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The disruptions could derail efforts to bring back global shipping lines to the Red Sea waterway, <\/strong>one of Egypt\u2019s top sources of foreign currency<strong>.<\/strong> Egypt\u2019s transit receipts from the Suez Canal dropped 62.3% y-o-y to USD 1.8 bn in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/c0a2cc8d-588d-4507-ad86-3181558c5899\/current-account-deficit-rises-to-usd-11.1-bn-in-1h-fy-2024-2025\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">1H FY 2024-2025<\/a>, on the back of Red Sea disruptions that pushed ships to reroute away from the canal. Tonnage through the canal was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/dc1abb00-389d-4ff3-b7e7-a42f1979ac72\/deutsche-bank-gives-its-two-cents-on-egypt%25e2%2580%2599s-economy\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">down some 70% y-o-y<\/a> to 117.5 mn tons in 2Q of this year \u2014 despite the Suez Canal Authority offering a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/42853932-7918-48b0-9f10-7c296ca48749\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">15% discount<\/a> on containership fees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#2- Egypt is still facing some connectivity disruptions after <\/strong><strong>the Ramses telecoms data center fire<\/strong> <strong>on Monday, <\/strong>with banking and internet services continuing to be unreliable for individuals and businesses. But ATMs and digital banking services remain spotty. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>The outage <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/f7af0f59-34cb-403f-aba9-1d20b6badec5\/today:-telecom-disruption-in-egypt-%2B-more-june-pmi-readings-roll-in\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">disrupted air flights<\/a> at Cairo International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday, but operations have since returned to normal at the airport and all flights delayed by the outage departed. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt2\"><\/a>#3- The UAE is set to invest in Brazil\u2019s infrastructure, transport, and trade sectors as part <\/strong><strong>of a USD 100 bn investment push in the country, <\/strong>according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/press-release\/government-news\/the-brics-summit-concludes-with-the-signing-of-the-largest-agreement-valued-at-over-100bln-p6fdadnw\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a> issued on the sidelines of the 17th BRICS Summit. Brent crude futures dropped USD 0.07 to USD 70.08 a barrel by 04.00 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures dipped by USD 0.08 to trade at USD 68.25 a barrel.
