The acquisition will add nearly 182.5k sqm in net leasable space to Aldar\u2019s growing warehouse assets in special economic zones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>The assets in question:<\/strong> Aldar\u2019s new assets are nearly at full occupancy \u2014 hosting international, regional, and government tenants. \u201cOur logistics platform continues to grow across Abu Dhabi and Dubai capitalising on demand for well-located premium logistics and industrial space,\u201d Aldar\u2019s CEO Jassem Salah Busaibe noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Aldar got its sight on the growing logistics sector:<\/strong> The real estate developer announced plans to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/ffaa2b9e-2afd-4fc0-9697-d2c24182c175\/uae%25e2%2580%2599s-al-dar-earmarks-aed-1-bn-in-investments-to-boost-logistics-assets\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">pour AED 1 bn<\/a> (c. USD 272 mn) to expand its logistics sector operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi \u2014 a sector that it only entered in 2022. Recently, Aldar <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/da48496a-83be-4a7f-8858-91fa5174b7fb\/make-it-in-the-emirates:-final-day-delivers-more-financing-for-industrials-%2B-ev,-healthcare,-and-oil-and-gas-partnerships\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">began<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/uae\/en\/news\/story\/da48496a-83be-4a7f-8858-91fa5174b7fb\/make-it-in-the-emirates:-final-day-delivers-more-financing-for-industrials-%2B-ev,-healthcare,-and-oil-and-gas-partnerships\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">construction<\/a> on a cold storage and distribution facility for Emirates Snack Foods (ESF) in Dubai South\u2019s Logistics District.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The developer <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/logistics\/en\/news\/story\/ffaa2b9e-2afd-4fc0-9697-d2c24182c175\/uae%25e2%2580%2599s-al-dar-earmarks-aed-1-bn-in-investments-to-boost-logistics-assets\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">acquired 7 Central Logistics Hub<\/a><\/strong> from steel supplier Seven Seas Steel Industries and an adjacent plot in the Dubai Investment Park (DIP).
