Autoworld International invests AED 45 mn in Jafza hub: <\/strong>The UAE-based regional distributor for India\u2019s Bajaj Auto, Autoworld International<\/a>, is investing AED 45 mn to develop a new logistics and assembly center in Jebel Ali Freezone (Jafza), according to a press release<\/a>. The facility will support the growing demand for fuel-efficient two- and three-wheelers across Africa and the Gulf, on the back of increased urbanization, e-commerce, and last-mile delivery activity.<\/p>\n

Timeline and details: <\/strong>Built over 162k sq ft and slated to be completed before 2026, the site will include a Bajaj assembly plant, as well as warehousing and distribution for spare parts, tires, and lubricants.<\/p>\n

More Chinese manufacturers eye Egypt as export hub:<\/strong> Two Chinese garment and textile players are readying up around USD 90 mn in investments to set up export-oriented shops in Egypt, according to a statement<\/a> from the Investment Ministry. Zhejiang Holding is planning an initial USD 20 mn textile investment in Egypt\u2019s garment and textile sector, with the goal of scaling up to USD 50 mn over the next five years.
