DAE secures USD 300 mn loan: <\/strong>UAE\u2019s Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has signed a USD 300 mn three-year unsecured term loan with the Bank of China, according to a statement<\/a>. The debt\u2019s yield has not been yet disclosed. <\/p>\n

Where would the money go?<\/strong> The loan would be used for general corporate purposes and assist future financing requirements. It would provide \u201cadditional liquidity to support our ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of our airline customers while maintaining a modern and efficient fleet,\u201d CEO Firoz Tarapore said. <\/p>\n

Big expansion on the cards:<\/strong> The firm finalized its full acquisition of Ireland-based Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) for an enterprise value of USD 2 bn<\/a> last month. The acquisition brought DAE\u2019s fleet size to some 750 assets \u2014 ranging from Airbus, ATRs, Embraer, and Boeing \u2014 valued at USD 22 bn.
