Jafza gets a new production facility: <\/strong>Dubai\u2019s Jebel Ali Freezone (Jafza) inked an agreement with German technology company Allied Heat Exchange AG (A-Heat)<\/a> to establish a heat exchanger production facility at DP World\u2019s flagship freezone, according to a statement<\/a> released on Thursday. The size of the investment ticket and the project timeline have not been disclosed. <\/p>\n

Details:<\/strong> The production and distribution facility \u2014 said to be the largest in the GCC \u2014 covers an area spanning 1.2 mn sq ft with a built-up area of 400k square feet. The facility will be developed by Jafza and operated by cooling systems manufacturer G\u00fcntner \u2014 A-Heat\u2019s flagship brand \u2014 in a bid to produce high-performance heat exchangers to optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption. <\/p>\n

Boosting exports: <\/strong>The hub will be used by the German firm as a production and distribution center in a bid to export the heat exchangers to several markets, including GCC countries, Africa, Asia, and others.<\/p>\n

Energy efficiency in mind: <\/strong>The center will provide \u201cadvanced and energy-efficient cooling solutions for industries that depend on optimal thermal management,\u201d executive board member at A-Heat Hubert Spegel said. The facility will also make the aicore<\/a>smart control solutions<\/a>, which optimizes cooling systems by adjusting their operations and cutting energy use by up to 30%. <\/p>\n

About<\/strong> A-Heat<\/strong>:<\/strong> The A-Heat Group specializes in refrigeration, process refrigeration air conditioning and heat-transfer technology, according to the company\u2019s website<\/a>.
