The raft of agreements include three Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs), and at least 15 various agreements and contracts across the logistics, trade, and renewable energy sectors. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>#1- <\/strong><strong>UAE and Uzbekistan inked at least 15 investment agreements and <\/strong><strong>contracts<\/strong>, covering the logistics, transportation, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and agricultural sectors, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gov.uz\/en\/miit\/news\/view\/32651\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>. Some agreements included involvement from Abu Dhabi port operator AD Ports, but no further details were disclosed. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>AD Ports and Uzbekistan have <\/strong><strong>history<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>The Emirati port operator established presence in the landlocked country through <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enera.uz\/adl-ulanish_en\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">ADL-Ulanish<\/a>, a JV founded in 2023 with SEG Enara Group. The JV focuses on building dry ports and container yards, and specializes in engineering logistics services, multimodal transportation, warehouses, and customs clearance. UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the agreement will enhance trade and investment, while also promoting innovation and sustainable growth in key sectors like agriculture, retail, healthcare, financial services, technology, and tourism.
