The 30-year project, following a build-transfer-operate (BTO) model, was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/projects\/construction\/saudi-arabia-unveils-master-plan-for-expansion-of-abha-airport-bjhzdpix\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">unveiled<\/a> in October 2023 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;font-family:\" arial\";line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"=\"\"><strong>ICYMI- Abha is not the only one up for a tender:<\/strong> In April 2023, NCP <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/projects\/construction\/saudi-arabia-plans-4-airport-ppp-projects-y876supu\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">had listed<\/a> the airport among four new airport projects it intended to tender under the PPP model as part of a bigger pipeline of 200 privatization and PPP projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;font-family:\" arial\";line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"=\"\"><strong>#2- <\/strong><strong>Egypt\u2019s Industry Ministry is currently studying plans to establish a ready-built <\/strong><strong>industrial complex of 450 factories in South Port Said Industrial Zone\u2019s extension<\/strong>, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/pfbid0BkXRpk7WMbFXyJAbv6NZrfAbJCuZDpMpKNoxmUtLmaKCN7e7jsp9yCTH7qqwrohXl?rdid=fDXph7w8xDi6byWI#\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.
